Ready for the off – Winter Series race – 29th December. For this year’s photo special the emphasis seems to be largely on group/team photos. It struck me while looking through this year’s selection that when we as a club perform as a team or in a group we really are very formidable indeed, more often than not punching way above our weight and this applies right through the age groups, from U11 XC and Sportshall right up to Vet’s T&F. Once again I am reminded of a comment made earlier in the year by one of our talented junior athletes on local radio, when talking about the club, she said ” It’s a family “ Which really did nail it for me. This is not to say that there haven’t been lots of superlative individual performances in 2019 and once again they have been right across the age range from 8 to 77.
