There’s a role for YOU….in your club.

Hello everyone

Shortly there will be a lot of communication regarding Officials or rather the lack of them…..being sent out. 

It is an issue that is plaguing the sport and has done so for many years but for our club it’s coming to a rapid head that with, dare I say it, ageing and retiring officials
we won’t be able to fulfil our league commitments going forward which means the unpalatable situation of having to possibly drop out of the leagues we’re involved in Heart of England (Juniors), Midland Senior and the Vets.

The regulations for officiating events i.e. having “qualified” officials is getting more focus mainly due to safety and safeguarding but the courses and time commitments are still very straightforward with no experience or knowledge necessary. 

Working with Midland Counties we’ve identified a local course on 13th April that you may be interested in attending….please see the attached.

Don’t forget we pay for the courses and you will be reimbursed.
